Welcome
Roots and Shoots Farm is a small-scale, organic vegetable farm that works to improve our local food system while inspiring our customers to explore the wonders of seasonal produce. We are located on the Bakker Farm on the Manotick Station crossroads. This year we will provide quality naturally-grown food through vegetable shares (CSA) , our booth at the Ottawa Farmers’ Market at Lansdowne Park, and our on-farm and city market stands.
Our Vision
Our long term vision is to create a dynamic farming cooperative that allows new producers to initiate and practice sustainable farming methods, while helping Ottawa to become food secure.

Our new farm stands – in Ottawa, Manotick and Manotick Station!
We are now selling produce from our farm in Manotick Station, on Thursdays between 4PM and 8PM. If you can’t make it to the farm, our produce will also be available at our CSA dropoff in Westboro, in the parking lot behind Mountain Equipment Co-op. For 2011, we will be adding a farm stand in Manotick during our dropoff there!
