Fall baskets & more!
We've started getting questions about when the "summer" share ends. We have a lot of places with information so we understand this may be confusing.. but this year, we merged Fall and Summer so there is NO break! Hooray!! The good news is that we normally increase the price (slightly) in the fall to help cover the increased logisitical headache that comes from running a farm and delivering in cold weather. But this year the price per week is remaining the same all the way through until Christmas. The other good news is that you can continue to get great veggies from your favourite farmers ;).
We have an amazing amount of food in storage and growing in the greenhouse so we are confident you will continue to LOVE the baskets. This has been, hands down, the best growing season we've had. Honestly we may run out of room to store everything! And the taste and quality we're finding is outsanding! We're confident these crops are going to store superbly for a long time!
So, to confirm, including this week, October 27th, there are eight more weeks to go of the 2026 basket program. That means there are four more half shares. The share ends the week of December 16th.
REMAINING CREDIT:
A gentle reminder that if you have credit remaining at the end of 2026 we are happy to carry it forward but there will be a $20 admin fee applied. Closing out the year with zero credit helps us plan better for the 2027 season. We will continue to stock the store with lots of extras and hope you can find useful essentials to use up your credit.
A little shout out to our incredible 2026 team. Tim, Olivia, Kat, Ron, Kate, Celine, Amanda, and Kielan show up every week rain, shine, cold or heat and get things done in the field!
COLD WEATHER LOGISTICS
Just a heads up that as the weather turns, we will be looking for indoor locations for some of the pickups (some locations have an indoor space for us already) This will probably happen mid NOVEMBER. Some pickups will have to move for the last few weeks of the share. IF the new location doesn't work for you we are happy to reimburse you or offer home delivery if your home is on our route.
Farmstore
Our new Farmstore is OPEN! We'd love for you to come out sometime to check it out! We are open every weekend (Sat 9h-4h / Sun 9h - 3h) and have a small menu including gorgeous pastries from Boulangerie Marcel and soups and sandwiches featuring our veggies (of course!). We will be open all year long!
While we have put a lot of energy into our farmstore, we haven't forgotten about the CSA . We truly appreciate all of you out there receiving boxes of veg every week (or every other!)
