It's time to get cozy, folks. If you haven't already signed up for a fall box, now is the time to reserve yours! Through November and December, we'll be delivering boxes of local, organic, seasonal veggies on a weekly or biweekly basis, for $42/box. Custom packing and the box is $3/delivery, and home delivery is another $10/delivery.
Fall box delivery dates:
Week of November 1st to week of December 20th - 8 weekly or 4 biweekly deliveries.
Get extra of what you like and less of what you don't!
All veggie boxes include access to our web store so that you can add local groceries to your delivery. Through the farm store you can also request "none" of some items and "extra" of others. We then custom pack your share to fit your preferences! It's a great chance to enjoy a bounty of fall veggies and local treats delivered straight to your door (or a nearby pickup), grown and delivered without single-use plastics!
About pickup sites and home delivery
We will be organizing as many indoor pickup locations as possible in case you'd rather not pay for home delivery. However, all boxes in the fall share have a $3 surcharge to go towards custom packing and cost of the box (boxes are now over $1.50 each, plus shipping!!) Home delivery is another $10 more.
Because we are currently in the middle of the summer share, it's not possible to choose your fall pickup site or home delivery. Once the summer share is over (October 22nd), we will input all the new pickup locations and home delivery zones and you'll be able to change over.
Current Fall pickup sites: Farm, Old Chelsea, Centretown, Glebe, Hintonburg, Ottawa South, Westboro.
Looking for: Wakefield, Hull.
Home delivery zones: Old Hull, East of Maitland Avenue, West of the Rideau River, north of the the Rideau River and Baseline Road.
How you'll be charged
If you're signing up now for the fall share, you'll be charged the base $42/week. Once you choose your pickup location (or home delivery) the additional charge will be added to your balance:
Pickup location: $3/week
Home delivery: $13/week
Of course, if you change your mind, or if there isn't an ideal pickup location or delivery available for you, we will issue a full refund.
If you've already signed up for the fall box, you were only charged $42. The supplementary pack and box fee of $3 or the home delivery fee of $13 will be added once the summer share is over and you've chosen your delivery preference.
If you have a positive balance (due to vacations, etc), this will be used up automatically before you are charged for whatever is left over. Any positive balance left after that can be used in the farmstore
Add-on shares
We will have Fall Egg Shares, Fall Greens Shares, and Fall Mushroom shares all available, and they can be added in the same way. Make sure to select the "Fall" version of each add-on share!!

For current members, you can simply go to your account page and click the "Add" button to the right of the "Subscription" heading at the bottom right of the page. Then you can add whatever subscriptions and add-ons you'd like.
For new members, sign up on our "join" page here. We will be in touch after October 22nd to finalize your pickup or home delivery options, at which point the delivery charge will be added to your account.
