That's it folks! Last week we sent out the last of our Winter CSA boxes. A big thank you to everyone who took part this year. Your commitment to local eating, even in the winter months is much appreciated. We had a great team working throughout February and March washing roots, picking spinach (yes, even in the cold winter months this magical green keeps growing!) and tending to our new microgreens production. Each week they packed it all up into boxes to send down to Wakefield, Chelsea and Ottawa. We aimed for variety, with every week had a different treat to explore- we hope you enjoyed each box! If you have any awesome recipes that you discovered for some of the more unusual veg you encountered send them our way

Crunchy microgreens!
Transitions come fast on the farm, we're already gearing up for the upcoming summer season of growing. Our team is working away planning, mapping the fields, planting in the seedling greenhouse, making sure all of our equipment is in tip top order and undertaking some bigger infrastructure projects. Always improving! We're all excited for spring and the great veggies ahead, we hope you are too.
If you're needing some goods to tide you over until the Summer CSA gets under way, we'd love to see you: Our shop is open Friday 1-5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10-3. Along with our hearty roots and spring greens, we have bulk granola from our friends at Ferme et Forêt bulk microgreens, pasture raised meats, QC cheeses and lots more.
When the fields dry up in early May come and enjoy a weekend walk around the farm to see what we're getting up to!
