After the drought in May, we’ve had non-stop rain. This humid, wet weather is fantastic for plants, including weeds. Because the fields are too wet, all of our nifty mechanical weeders have been sadly sidelined. Our field crew cannot keep up with planting, harvesting AND all these weeds. So we could really use your help!!
We need a solid team of people who can come help us tackle these weeds. We have openings on Monday and Friday from 9-12 and 1:00-3:30pm.
These are work-share positions! Hours can be put against your fall share, or be used for veggies on the day (a good way to put away some extra food for winter!). Value is $10/hour. You’re welcome to bring your kids for the farm experience but we will only be compensating those 18 and up for their hours!
